Description: Inspired by the Grimm Brother's fairy tale of the same name, "The Juniper Tree" portrays a stork-like bird flying above a gnarled tree and scattered bones. The story documents a child who was slain by his stepmother and turned into soup. His bones were buried beneath a juniper tree from which he returned to life as a bird. The bird went around singing the story of his death and through the power of truth and justice, his human form was restored. May we all find our juniper tree, our resuscitation.
